Castroville Day Academy (CDA), a homeschooling ministry of First Baptist Church of Castroville, is a Christian group offering academic and elective courses to homeschoolers, Pre-K through 12th grade. We aim to provide an enriching classroom experience to support your homeschooling goals. Equally important, opportunities for fellowship and friendship with like-minded families will be abundant!
We invite you to take a look around at our site to see what all we have to offer. Mark your calendar for our upcoming Meet the Teachers Nights on May 23rd, June 27th, and July 29th, where you can talk to teachers and preview textbooks to help determine if this will be a good fit for your family.
Classes will meet once a week on Mondays where students will receive instruction and participate in hands-on activities. For the remainder of the week, students will have age-appropriate coursework to complete at home. Parents of Pre-K through 4th graders are required to stay to volunteer in classrooms, whereas grades 5 through 12 may be dropped off for the school day. (We’re happy to offer a nursery option for our teachers and parent volunteers who have children ages 2 and under.)
